I was honoured when HRH The Prince of Wales arrived at The British Council in Chittagong to open one of my most exciting projects.
Here, informative and relaxing reading rooms and libraries were opened to the public, including children, for the first time.
This was quickly followed by a complete refurbishment of The British High Commission’s Club House in Dhaka . Plant dyes were used in the paints to achieve unique colours and hues. Only locally spun silks and woven cottons were sourced to complete this vibrant scheme.
The effect was stunning.
A commission from Mobil Oil then ensured that Vicki Cockcroft Interiors was firmly emplaced.
